Meet Axxam at the Human Cell Forum 2026

Axxam will participate in the 2026 edition of the Human Cell Forum, the annual user exchange organized by bit.bio, bringing together scientists, innovators, and industry professionals working with human iPSC-derived cell models and next-generation approaches to biomedical research.

The event will take place on 4 June 2026 in Cambridge, UK, and will focus on the adoption of human cell-based systems, reproducible research models, and their integration into drug discovery and translational research workflows.

As part of the event, Axxam will present a scientific poster highlighting its expertise in advanced human-relevant in vitro models and drug discovery technologies.

Supporting Human-Relevant Drug Discovery

The growing adoption of human iPSC-derived cells is transforming how researchers study disease biology, evaluate drug candidates, and generate more predictive preclinical data.

At Axxam, we combine:

  • Human iPSC-derived cellular models
  • High-content screening (HCS)
  • Electrophysiology platforms
  • Phenotypic and target-based screening
  • Translational assay development
  • Integrated hit discovery and lead optimization workflows

These capabilities enable researchers to generate robust, biologically relevant data while supporting the transition toward New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) and more predictive research models.

Poster Presentation

Katie Headland, our BD Senior Director, will present a poster showcasing how advanced human cell-based systems can be integrated with discovery biology and screening technologies to support complex drug discovery programs.

Poster title: “Scalable CRISPR Functional Genomics in Human iPSC-Derived Motor Neurons Using Multi-Omics Phenotypic Profiling”

Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss:

  • Human iPSC-derived disease models
  • Assay development and screening strategies
  • Functional cellular readouts
  • Translational pharmacology approaches
  • Integrated drug discovery solutions
