Connecting innovation in electrophysiology

Axxam will take part in the Nanion User Meeting 2025, held on October 28–29, 2025, in Munich, Germany.
The meeting is more than a scientific conference. It is a community gathering that brings together researchers, technologists, and industry experts from around the world.
They will share ideas, new results, and success stories in electrophysiology, membrane biophysics, and cell analytics.

Our Director, Jean-François, and Principal Scientist, Manuel, will represent Axxam.
They will meet with colleagues, explore new collaborations, and exchange experiences on automated patch clamp and ion-channel-based drug discovery.

A platform for scientific exchange

The Nanion User Meeting offers a unique environment for learning and connection.
Participants can join scientific talks, technology updates, and open discussions that highlight recent advances in patch-clamp systems such as SyncroPatch, Patchliner, Orbit mini, and Port-a-Patch.
As a result, attendees gain a deeper understanding of how automation and precision drive modern electrophysiology.
Moreover, the meeting helps researchers discover new ways to combine biophysical insights with drug discovery workflows.

Collaboration that drives discovery

For Axxam, the event is a chance to engage with leading scientists in the ion-channel field.
It also provides an opportunity to learn from the experiences of others who apply automated patch clamp systems daily.
By sharing perspectives and results, participants strengthen the entire community.
In addition, the meeting encourages direct dialogue between technology providers, academic groups, and pharma partners who aim to improve disease modeling and screening reliability.
Together, these efforts continue to advance innovation in early discovery.
