Protein Sciences in Drug Discovery
The Protein Sciences in Drug Discovery 2024 event, jointly organized by ELRIG UK and The Protein Society, will take place on November 18-19 at the Hinxton Hall Conference Centre in Cambridge, UK. This conference aims to foster collaboration among experts from academia, the pharmaceutical industry, and biotech, focusing on how advances in protein sciences can aid drug discovery.
Key topics include high-throughput protein expression, the development of antigens for antibody and vaccine research, quality assessment techniques, and cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM) to assess druggability. There will also be sessions on sequence-based predictive methods, poster presentations, networking opportunities, and a vendor exhibition. Additionally, the event will offer travel bursaries to support early-career professionals.
