Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2025 – Cambridge, MA
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event dedicated to Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Each year, thousands of participants walk together to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease and all other forms of dementia.
In 2025, Axxam is proud to join this inspiring initiative. Our Senior Director, Tom Grammatopoulos, will participate in the Cambridge, MA edition — walking in solidarity with patients, families, and researchers striving for a world without Alzheimer’s.
Why we walk
Our mission is to advance scientific discovery and translate it into meaningful therapeutic impact. Participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s allows us to connect science with compassion — supporting the Alzheimer’s Association’s efforts to:
Fund cutting-edge research into the causes, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease
Provide support and care for those affected and their caregivers
Raise awareness and foster a stronger sense of community involvement
Our participation symbolizes our commitment to improving the lives of those impacted by neurodegenerative disorders — both through our research in neuroscience and through personal action.
Axxam’s commitment to neuroscience
Axxam’s neuroscience platform is dedicated to understanding the mechanisms behind neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS. Through advanced iPSC-based models, cellular assays, and high-throughput screening, our teams work to identify and validate new targets that could one day lead to transformative therapies.
By joining the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, we’re taking our dedication beyond the lab — showing that scientific progress and human empathy must go hand in hand.
Join us
If you’re attending or supporting the Walk in Cambridge, come say hello to Tom from Axxam and share your story. Every step matters — whether you’re walking, donating, or simply spreading awareness.
Together, we can advance both science and solidarity in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
